About Kivu Choice:
Kivu Choice is the largest aquaculture production and distribution platform in Rwanda, and the fastest-growing fish farm in Africa. Founded in late 2021, the company now produces over 5 million fish meals per year and is on track to produce over 50 million meals per year by 2027. Kivu Choice has operations that span across Rwanda, including farms in Gisagara and Nyamasheke, branches and logistics centers across Kivu Belt and Kigali, and export sales into DRC. Our plan is to become the most affordable, sustainable, and accessible protein in the region.
About the Role
A Sales Manager will ensure that our network of branches meets sales targets, adheres to compliance, enhances brand visibility, and expands branch networks nationwide. This vital role supports our mission to provide everyone with access to affordable protein in the assigned region.
What you will do:
- Ensuring branches meet their objectives: sales and compliance
- Executing the market development plan with the sales team to meet targets across branches network and other local sales channels.
- Responsible for branch network expansion by identifying new locations and opening new branches.
- Implementing marketing and sales strategies
- Reporting on the performance of each region to the Management
- Ensure compliance of SOPs across all branches.
Job Requirements:
- Hold a bachelor’s degree and have at least 4 years of sales experience.
- Possess senior managerial experience, preferably in retail, with field and operations expertise.
- Willingness to spend most of your time in the field supporting the sales teams.
- Good motivational skills and enthusiasm.
- Experience in project management.
- Possesses strong business acumen, data analytics skills, and exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

- Possess extensive experience in team leadership, thriving on managing conflicts and people, and achieving success by guiding others toward a common goal without handling every task personally
- Having a proven track record of independently meeting targets
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must be a strong communicator, proficient in writing reports and addressing issues as needed
- Must be self-driven and motivated to meet targets, with proven ability to achieve goals independently and as a leader, demonstrating initiative without waiting for direction

- Fluent in English with excellent verbal communication, listening, and phone skills
